The Layer 2 window captures the same data as the Layer 3 window but displays it from the layer 2 perspective. As with layer 3 information the data is displayed as a tree structure and full details of the data can be obtained clicking on the [+] next to an individual entry. Individual messages are colour-coded in the same way as for layer 3.
Selecting a message in the layer 2 window will synchronise the layer 3 window to the same message.
