The CCCH scan captures all data transmitted on both the forward and reverse CCCH channels. This is displayed as a tree structure and any message can be expanded by clicking on the [+] next to it to examine in detail the data contained within an individual transmission. Individual channels are colour coded and indicated using an up arrow for the uplink (mobile to base) direction and down arrows for the downlink (base to mobile) direction.
Selecting a message in the layer 3 window will synchronise the layer 2 window to the same message.
